Emoticon use...
by jeanniebeanz inhave you noticed that some posters seem to use the emoticon buttons more than others?
i have often wondered if those who use the buttons are normally very animated while talking, and use their arms and hands more than those who don't use the buttons.. if maybe they substituted the use of the emoticons for their inability to flail about with their arms, or make faces like they do in person.. i haven't met any of you in person yet so can't say.
it is true, or just a bad theory?.

I just lately started using the emicons. I prefer to use !!!!!!!!!!! also. I tend to talk too loudly at times. I don't know why. Sometimes while I'm in the shower in the morning, I will say to myself, Shhhhhhhhhhhh today. You were loud yesterday. I do have problems. Was this caused by the JW's? Everything else was. HL

no need of having any fear of homosexual tendencies, not that there's anything wrong with it...but guys, will you ever admit that you can look at another man and know that he's attractive and good looking, with no fear within your inner being that you may be gay?.
i was in converse with my wife and mentioned to her how attracted men are to other women.

Where is the safest place to be during a thunderstorm?
by hubert inwe just had the biggest thunderstorm pass over us in many years, and the "epicenter", if you can all it that, was right over my house!!!!!!!!.
any minute, i was expecting to get hit in the a$$ with a bolt of lightning, and lose whatever little hair i have left on my head, or anywhere else, for that matter.
so, i think that the safest place to be, is on the toilet.. that way, when a bolt of lightning hits right outside your bathroom window, you will be in the right place when you shit yourself !!

I watched a tornado dip down 1 mile from my house, got the phone and went to the closet, called my husband 200 miles away, and asked him what to do. He was of no help. So don't call him.

The checker waiting for the money from the woman in front of me, and not pulling the belt forward, so I can put more groceries on the belt.
The checker putting soap with the meat.
The checker not putting my bags into the cart. (Walmart)
The checker who scans every can in a flat of dog food, instead of using the quantity key.
The checker or bagger, who lickes their finger to get the bag, or count out money.
I need to stay out of the store, I would be much happier. HL
